desperatly want one of these for LO but the OH wont let me get it :(

Give your OH time. I've seen several OHs that thought they were a waste of space until seeing thier LOs in another kids' or most baby stores have one set out that you put LO in to try in a few months time. Once they see the joy and excitement in their child's face, the wallet comes out no questions asked.

I would say forget him and go buy it anyway. Babies need things like this that help to stimulate their senses and also helps give you a bit of a break as well cause can put them in there for a few min and you can maybe do a bit of cleaning while you know LO is safe and keeping busy.

Sorry to barge in but my DD2 hated her jumperoo...She found it too restricting and boring as they have very limited toys on it.

See if u can find a second hand one and try it out as they can get pricey...I had mine for 2 weeks and i paid $110 AU

My son LOVED his jumparoo!! One of his favorite toys by far when he was a baby!! And it allowed me to be able to get things done around the house. I would not do without one and my sister actually packed hers up and brought it with us on vacation for her daughter!

A jumperoo is definately a must in my eyes :) x

tell him its less clutter actually as its all in one piece and the toys stay in it..they dont end up under your feet and in the couch..etc etc..

thank you ladies. well after showing him some vids of babies in the jumperoos he said ok but well have to ask family for christmas to chip in etc. im sure my dad would buy it no problem. ill keep working on him he seems keen i think his just worried abount the cost. xxxxx

Thats good
so pleased for you
men just dont no what its like,xx

I would just get it lol think i might get one lol

Hope he lets u have it as u want it so bad. I can see why they are popular, though have to say these werent around yet when wr haf our DD three yrs ago and we managed finr without. DD would spend time in her walker if I needed to keep her contained for a sec lol.

My OH felt exactly the same. Waste of money. Pointless. Dust gatherer. Won't be used for more than a few weeks. Well...we bought one when Grace was around 4 months and she used it until she was 1. And she loved it. It provides stimulation and entertainment, boosts hand/eye co-ordination, allows them to develop neck and leg muscles and means you can get on with making tea, doing household tasks nearby or just playing and laughing along with them. BEST BUY EVER! It's sat in our cellar ready for baby 2. It's simply amazing for cold and wet days too when you can't get out!

Keep fighting!

Mya loved hers such a great purchase..my friend is currently using it for her little one who she found hard to soothe unless he was being held he loves it also :)

Grr why do men have to have a say in the toys! so want this for bub when his a little bit older but my OH really dislikes it. Its really not fair i think this would be a great purchace for LO to keep him entertained.

:( he thinks its clutter and pointless. i think its educational for LO and stimulating. YHis not gonna have many toys if the OH keeps saying no to basically everything. GRRRR!

Won't "let" you? I'd go and buy it just for that! ;)

My DD had one, didn't really go in it till about 3 months, but she loved it and would spend ages in it jumping up and down and playing. I just got it back out for this baby and even now at 2 she keeps trying to get back in it lol.
