12 Month Movement Milestones:
1. Gets to sitting position without assistance
2. Crawls forward on belly by pulling with arms and pushing with legs
3. Assumes hands-and-knees position
4. Creeps on hands and knees supporting trunk on hands and knees
5. Gets from sitting to crawling or prone (lying on stomach) position
6. Pulls self up to stand
7. Walks holding on to furniture
8. Stands momentarily without support
9. May walk two or three steps without support

2more weeks until she turns 1. She has a lot to accomplish in that time frame.

My LO is 1 in 3 weeks.

BUT my friends LO who is a year and a half can only do 3 of those. Every child develops at their own spend, if you have any concerns speak to your pediatrician

Since you're in the US, will you have a 12 month appointment with a pediatrician? Mention all your concerns then. They will let you know if there is a problem.


What about the other non-motion related milestones on the list?

Her non gross-motor milestones are mostly achieved.

She feeds herself and holds her cup and babbles and plays with toys (bangs them together puts them in/out of containers). She knows when we say her name. And she knows who Dada and Mama are. She responds to "no" by stopping what she's doing.

Her check-up is in 3wks. I'm sure her pediatrician just say it's nothing to worry about. And I'm sure it is nothing to worry about. But knowing it's nothing to worry about and not worrying are 2 separate issues that I cannot seem to reconcile.

If she's meeting her other milestones, I wouldn't worry too much. Some babies don't care as much about getting around. She'll probably start crawling, pulling up, sitting up, etc all at once. My son did all that in a span of 2 weeks once he started.
