DH's SA

Hey girlies -

DH has gone for his SA this afternoon (now you all know what he's up to!!!!! )

I'm stuck at work as i couldn't get any time out - they don't know about TTc so its hard to get time off for things sometimes.

Just wanted to share my worry with some people that understand. Its being tested this afternoon but we won't get results til we see FS again!!!!!

Its awful isn't it - if theres going to be a problem, then i just wish it could be with me, its going to hurt him sooooooo much if there is a problem and it lies with him!!!

I've gotta phone tomorrow and book to see FS, they wouldn't let me book an appt until Dh had done the test, which to me seemed silly, but i guess they have their reasons.....

I'm driving myself mad at work.....just hope he's enjoying the magazines we've been told will be on offer for him

aw chick i remember when dh had his ,it was such a painful time waiting,and the nhs sodded around for ages with the results,to this day we still dont have them.
We ended up paying privately for same day results to stop us worrying, £65 well spent!!

£65 we went private too and coughed up £120!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Decided it was worth it though when we we're told that they'll also put some replica lady fluids on top & see how well and how many get through.....something the NHS won't do - decided it was worth it!!!!

just wanted to wish you luck hun!! I am going thru the same at the mo except DH appt is only on 2 Dec for SA and we already suspect a problem from post coital test.... I just so wish it was my problem and not his... still hoping as he is already so upset... think it hurts them more than us... they feel less of a man you know... like they are incompetent... my DH said he hates the word infertile... I can understand.... I suppose its the same as if we were called Barren... oh well - FX for your DH all is ok!

I totally agree and DH seems very cool about it all but i know he's hiding it well - as per usual when he is worried. Hope all goes well for your DH.

Thanks hun, i spent most of friday trying to get through to the fertility specialist to get that all important appt booked, but no one answered kept going through to answer phone and saying that the message box was full

Not impressed - plus i'll prob have to wait weeks for an appt won't i!!!!!!

Not impressed - plus i'll prob have to wait weeks for an appt won't i!!!!!!
