Anyone's toddlers go to speech therapy

My son is to start, i dunno when but i know he is , i just wanted to know what to expect

My son had speech therapy when he was 3, it was amazing, he needed intense therapy so he went once a week for about 2 months and then once a month for a further 4-5 months and then reviews every 6 months until he was 6. It is just a case of getting the child to say the right sound, Daniel had problems with ch, f, sh and a few others , they played games got him to watch himself in the mirror as he was speaking and gave him some simple work sheets.
I wouldnt worry Daniel was really bad thats why he had to go for so long.
