Differences: US vs UK

Hmmm....I did a search for "potty shot" and all the ones I saw were from UK'ers. The areas listed under their names were "uk north east" "west mids-uk" "newport south wales", I don't know if that makes a difference, but I guess the UK isn't as big as the US so maybe not?

lol yeah I think walmart has everything. You know what sucks about California? No walmart supercenters!! We have to get our groceries at real grocery stores and it's RIDICULOUSLY expensive. I miss Food4Less in VA. Now that was cheap groceries.

Really?? Where in CA do you live?? I've lived in about 3 or 4 different towns in Southern California and they've all had Super Walmarts

Oh my jeebus... Twinkies are a little rolls of sunshine... I LOVE THEM.... especially if you freeze em.... so delicious.


For some reason it annoys me when American Actors mimic British accents... I guess because there are British Actors.. why not use em??? I think the Brit Actors do a good job of an "American" accent though. They impress me with that.. like Hugh Laurie or Robert Patterson.

I don't know where you've been getting your Twinkies but they are definitely not dry if they are rather fresh. Definitely an amazing junk food!

And it's one of my pet peeves too - why use an American actor when there are load of British actors?!?!?! I often rant about that. And I'm American. lol

Yeah I don't understand using actors with the wrong accent for a role where they'll have to do a fake accent. There're actors from everywhere so use one with the right bloody accent to start with

The accents are invariably terrible anyway!

Oh and I've heard lots about twinkies but never had one.

Also, I'm Southern and I absolutely can't stand hearing an actor or actress try to fake a southern accent! They always sound ridiculous and fake.

I'm in the southern USA. We fry everything down here.

We eat deer, raccoon, alligator, squirrel, goat, ect.

I am 30 minutes from the nearest big town.

We have 2 dollar stores, 2 fast food restaurants (Sonic and Subway), a couple dairy bars, and a grocery store.

I would really love to be able to walk a little ways and go to the store, like you ladies do in the UK. Also, I think your cars are smaller than ours and most of them, if not all run on diesel instead of unleaded gasoline?
