Dilemma (posted in main ttc section too)

So I have a dilemma and could use input. I was given a rx for provera to bring on af and was told to wait until 10/28 to get a blood pregnancy test and get the results on 10/31 and if negative to start taking the provera and then start clomid on day 5. The thing is, I've been charting so I KNOW I didn't ovulate and therefor cannot be pregnant so I'm so tempted to just take the provera now so I can get a start on this already and then tell the doctor that af came naturally or not say anything at all and still get the blood test. Would anyone do the same or just wait it out?

BTW my chart isn't updated...I'm just using the chart on my phone and haven't updated FF yet

Personally, I would wait it out but that's just because I assume my body already is messed up, I don't want to take a chance going against medical advice. But that's just me and the place I'm at now. Have you called the doc to tell them your plan? At least maybe you will get an idea of whether it could cause any real issues or not. Good luck!
