DISCO assesment

so my son is almost 11 and finally they have decided to do a DISCO assesment on weds (1st april) can anyone who has been through this tell me what to expect and what will happen?

I have never heard of that. What exactly does it assess for? Anything specific?

it tests whether the child is austic or has some sort off autism, its bascially aload off questions found out today, and we got the answer at end off it, the dr that assessed him is saying he is autistic

Oh god you are not a crap mum!!! I am so sorry he is autistic - but you can't blame yourself. It isnt your fault.

Sorry to hear that. Why kind of autism, did they say? How old is your child? My daughter has PDD. She was diagnosed when she was two, but she is now four.
