Do babies sleep more when they have a cold?

My 6 week old has pretty much slept all day, only waking for feeds, no awake time really till about 3:30pm, he has a little sniffle, would the extra sleep be due to his cold?

My lo doesn't! It prevents him from sleeping, your lo maybe the opposite though. X

My Leo doesn't sleep more. He sleeps less, a whole lot less lol xx

keep an eye on them as my lo was like that when she was poorly and had pneumonia. dont want to scare you hun.x

Thanks, am keeping a close eye on him, his cold isn't too bad to be honest, other than sleeping more he's in quite good fettle and his temperature is ok, he's feeding ok aswell!

He's at the dr for his 6 week check on Wednesday so he'll be checked over then anyway!
