Do First Signal tests ever get really dark? *Updated p3*

I just wanted to update and say that my HCG level on the day of the ultrasound was 7600-ish. That makes the pregnancy viable based on 48 hour doubling time since my first draw a week prior (which was 664).
The day before I would have had an HCG over 5,000-- and my First Signal test lines were dark, but not darker than the control. So I hope that will help anyone else wondering about about First Signal test darkness.
