Do i need a pram mattress?

do i need to get a pram mattres? i've just bought a my choice travel system and as far as i can see there isn't a mattress with it and it doesn't say anywhere to get one? i'm confused

i was confused about this too.. we bought the maxi cosi mura 3, and the carrycot bit too. it didnt say anything about the mattress, so i just decided to see what it came with when it arrived, and it turns out it comes with a fab mattress as part of it!
is there a mothercare nearby where you could check it out, or maybe even give them a call? my guess is it comes with something..

depends on the type of pram - if its 1 with a proper carry cot then yes they do need 1. mine is a soft pushchair that converts into a pram and therefore doesnt.

I bought the mychoice 4 and it came with a thin padded sheet. I'd rather it was thicker but I guess it's ok because there isn't a hard bottom and the fabric is lies on gives a little too.

mine is a pushchair one that folds down into pram and it came with a "pram liner" but that is basically just a white material thing, a bit like a mattress protector i suppose. i foiund that the moses basket mattress fits in there tho so have used the one that was in the moses basket when i got it, cos we bought another one for the moses basket.

It depends on what kind you buy ... if they need one 99% will already come with one when you buy it

I bought mine second hand and there is nothing. I'm going to organise getting one off ebay - there's plenty of choice. I'm assuming I have to gt a moses basket one, though I found someone who sells on ebay to your exact shape and measurement requirements, so I might go with her.
