Do Psychics, Mediums, Clairvoyants etc Exist? *Updated- Reading Post 16*

Just curious to peoples opinions because honestly, I just dont know. I've had a few readings done now, some face to face, some online. They all seem to mention Eve but tbh this would not be hard to find out as I have a gonetoosoon page for her. I always however, give my name as Laura Allonby (Allonby is my children and partners surname, I never use Lora as this would be making is far too easy for them!) so that they can't 'research' me too much.
I recieved one today which mentioned Eve but nothing of my Brother in Law (i specifically asked about 2 people)...it also said I had 2 children with me (I have 3) and that we made the right decision regarding Eves death (there was no decision she died in her sleep!)
I have had better, more accurate rading but I dont know how much is guess work. I've seen TV programmes where even the most apparantly fantastic Psychics have been proven to be frauds.
Whats your experiences/opinions?

I think that some people have a heightened awarness of peoples thoughts, mainly through reading things like facial ticks and body language. Like some people have better sight or better hearing.

SO yes I do believe you and 'read' people in a face to face enviroment. Tbh I work in sale/recruitment and I can read people very very well and draw out information from them without them knowing it really. However I am not a medium/psychic or whatever. Im just good at reading people and getting them to tell me things or picking up on tiny bits of information to build on

But I dont believe that it goes any further than this ability to read people well. I dont think they know the future or have contact with a 'spirit world' I dont believe anyone 'comes through'

I most certainly dont believe that this can be done over the internet or phone in any way at all

i believe mediums to exsist.

i had a reading afew weeks ago face to face with a couple. the things the woman came out with she couldnt of known unless i or my oh (whos passed) had told her. yes u get people who are very good at reading people but that wouldnt explain how she knew about the first time i saw him march or about my wedding flowers, or the single rose hed give me to cheer me up. and the fact id been shouting at him since hes been gone.

for me after my reading it was right im a total believer in the couple i saw, but unfortunalty there are alot of fakes out there

I believe they exist, but more importantly, I believe everyone has that "skill" its just that for a variety of reasons, some are more in tune than others, but it is something that can be developed. I also know that some people can take advantage of vulnerable people so its essential to be cautious.

We saw one soon after Alex had died, so not much was online to research and we only booked in under DH's name. Its was a face to face one.

The man told us what was in Alex's casket. He talked us through his funeral, R carrying him (which could be quite obvious?) R lowering him into the ground. He told us I was the one who woke in the night to find him. He knew he was a boy. And he also told me how Alex didnt want all my focus to be on his grave, he said he feels my whole life is focused on his grave, if I wasnt at his grave I was looking for things which is spot on. I went at least once a day for 7/8 months.

For us our experience was almost spot on, leaving room for obvious guess work. I couldnt go back to the same one, but would love to find another just as good.

This same medium also told us we were pregnant again and she would be a girl (about a week before my ) and that we would go on to have another boy (I have such a strong feeling this one is a boy)

so yeah, I believe there are some good ones, he couldnt have known all he did x

I think for me I am always chasing that definate proof, and as of yet I dont feel I have really found it In the face to face one i had,i took down all my kids photos, removed every last toy etc, she did pick up on eve, but nothing els she said had any connection and she was here well over an hour. Theres one lady online who i feel has come quite close, she described caitlyn and ollie (before i had amy) and their ages, knew Id have another baby, knew about eve etc...but, oh i dont know. I know that she couldnt have researched me. Well i dont THINK she could have, but who knows?? I've just ordred another reading from her again I've asked about 2 people in the spirit world (didnt give any details, just asked how they were) there is nothing to link me to my BIL online so Im curious as to what reading i will get, will update on here when i do! xxx

IMO, no and I think it's wrong that some people are totally fleeced by them... If I got a reading done it would be purely for a bit of fun. I don't believe in ghosts, spirits, anything. Not sure if I believe in an afterlife at all but appreciate that people do and that's fine, I would never disrespect it.

even tho with my reading and the detail she came out with, my ohs name straight away which got me and living in a haunted flat before im still unsure myself but thats life, we wont no whats next until we get there.

my reading cost £25 but after the reading they both said this was too important and wouldnt take my money. also my oh hasnt been gone long so they suggested another reading with them or anyone else...im going back to them.

she descriped my ohs injuries and that he died in germany, the injurie my oh had that wasnt the one that killed him was the one i was most bothered about and she picked up on that too....which unless she snuck into see my oh wouldnt of known about.

i duno its a crazy world so the possibilities are endless

she isnt well known and im not sure if she travels around to do readings ect but i can find out if u like?
i got her number from my bil who cuts her hair lol
she was always coming out with things to him about people he had lost that no even he knew so i had a feeling shed be good and i was not let down.

I get a bit angry at the whole "industry", if you will, as I think they prey on people who are desperate with grief. I don't think it's very ethical and I definitely don't think any of it is true.

Yes I do and I have done readings but I wont do birth ones etc as thats just fate. I wont charge and I only just randomly do do them. Like example being sat at my friends house for a cuppa and I will see random things like names, smells, places. 99.9% of the time they are relevant. I do it for fun though not charge or anything.

In my faith, we believe that mediums and psychics do exist but it is jinns and not the dead who communicate with the medium, and this is why quite often mediums will get things mainly right but with some pieces of information wrong or missing. The jinn are beings like us but originally made from fire, they have far greater physical ability than humans and can take many forms. Jinns can listen in on conversations in the heavens but it's like Chinese whispers. In Islam though we believe that what some of psychics believe is correct, for various reasons it isn't permissible for us to seek their help. X

I smiled because I have had your nan or a lady around me for you since yesterday she tells me she is ok and is happy to be with others in the spirit world she tells me she left to soon but felt it was time to let go, tell others she is ok and that she looks after a child in the spirit world to, I feel this child may have lost his/her life due to illness and I see she is happy to have someone around them to hold there hand, I feel this child comes and goes form your home and takes time to listen to you and family member laugh. I also have a man in the spirit world who I felt was a military man he stands tall and straight and has a straight face, but boy did this may have a sense of humour, he would have been the joker of the pack, I feel he may have passed many years ago but then ask myself as I see him clearly and wounder if it may have only been within the last 3 years, I know that sounds silly but he shouts to say he is ok and that you must tell his family, I do feel this man may not be someone you would connect to right away but your family member will.

Laura you are a good person and I see you have many that look down on you from the spirit world, I am asked that you tell the man around you to slow down as I feel he is doing to much, talk more openly to those around you to as I feel you have held a lot in and in a way feel locked out of things that go on around you, you are not a silly person and I sometime feel people have not involved you in fear of hurting you.

I have a lady in spirit who tells me she passed of cancer she is happy to be with others but feels for those she has left behind, she talks of a child who cried more and more and that over time blocked lots out, I feel this may have been you or a family member around you, she tells me she comes to them and strokes their hair and soft air is felt around there ears. This lady I had to give in in the end as she had waited to long, she tells me the light was waiting for her, I see a card or book of somkind and a teddy to. I see lots of clouds around her now which I feel means she can see well, she tells me a young man around you needs to watch his step as things never seem to go right for him over the next few months he needs to reground and look and see he is doing so very much wrong, you on the other hand have the world at your feet , time to see that and move forward time to listen more to your gut feeling and see you can do all you wish to do.

Move in your working area as I feel this is holding you down and look after the friend who I feel is having a really bad time, tell her that she needs to talk more openly and not let boys rule her head, she needs to talk to the young man who is causing her to feel shit most of the time and let him go, he will always make her feel this way. This is Aaron without a doubt, he iterally does not stop, he works til 5pm and then gets on with the extention most nights working til midnight. People, including that Dr have told him he needs to slow down for his own health.

My Only Aunty died from Cancer around 9 years ago, I was devestated but she had been poorly for alot of years, had battled cancer, strokes, Pneomonia etc. In a way it was a blessing she was no longer suffering. She also wore glasses, or was supposed to!!

My best friend/ex work mate is going through a really hard time atm, shes pregnant and split up with OH, she keeps tellinbg me that she knows they shouldnt be together but that she wants to make a go of it for the kids

This is the part that really got me, over the weekend we discussed all of these things, Ollie was pestering me to fix his clock, Aaron was saying he had to fix the door handle as it keeps sticking and is doing his head in, the living room light must have a loose connection somewhere as it flickers constantly when on, and Aarons work mate is coming to lay the new stairs carpet next week. Coincidence??
