We have added to our invitations that we would prefer thomson holiday vouchers as we pretty much have everything we need except a honeymoon as our budget could not stretch to one

so we r gonna c how many vouchers we get then add money to it an try get a cheap deal in feb/march

We didn't have a gift list we just got a card made up with a poem on it that went out with invites/rsvp's asking for vouchers for 3 different places.

There is a way of getting cashback on the gifts that people buy you. I'm currently working on our wedding site that's on gettingmarried.co.uk. You cna get like 4% cash if a guest buys something from a retailer like Next. John Lewis aren't on it though.

We were going to ask for vouchers but now due to the cashback scheme We're just going to select items instead.

We went with John Lewis as there was still a lot of stuff we needed for the house. It still suprises me how generous people were.

We've told people we just want them there as we've just moved house and got everything we need. Most people have said they're just giving us money though
