Do you always get a scan when getting genetic testing?

I'm getting the maternit21 test Tuesday, And was wondering if they usually do a scan too. I mean is a scan always done with this type of testing? I'm nervous that the next scan will be so far away as 10 more weeks. Does anyone know? Has anyone had the test and not had a scan as well?

I had the Panorama test done, (it's the same thing) and did not have a scan at that time. It's just a simple blood draw. Good luck!
