Hello ladies:thumbup:

Me and OH have narrowed down (we think) what we want to call LO. We've got a couple of names, my favourite being Noah Anthony Shore. However, MIL says Noah doesn't go with the surname, which I personally can't see:shrug: What do you think?

Also OH is a bit concerned that you can't shorten Noah down to a nickname, which I like about it.

The other name I really like would be Lennon Anthony Shore, although with this OH doesn't like the fact he would have the nickname Lenny, although again I really like!

ARGGHHH... whoever thought baby naming would be so hard! I'm starting to worry now that we're running out of time!

Any thoughts/suggestions? I really want the middle name Anthony and would like a name that isn't that common.:dohh:

Thanks xxx

noah anthony shore is a lovely name!! :D stick with it if you like it! i cant see a problem between the first and last name myself :D
congratulations and good luck with everything! :flower:

Love Noah and Lennon, I dont see that it 'doesnt go' with you surname . We nearly called our second son Lennon but went with Sonny instead, I love it, quite unusual without being weird . ps: Lenny is very cute as a nn. xx

I prefer Noah to Lennon (just my opinion). I too like the idea that Noah can't be shortened. I also think your son is more likely to be called Len, by his friends rather than Lenny.

My husband was called by his initials by his friends, so that's something else to think about. NAS and/or LAS etc. Boys will be boys and more often than not, parents loose control over the name once the cheeky friends re-christen them.

I love Noah & Lennon -- both great names!

I'm wondering if maybe your MIL doesn't think Noah Shore goes well together bc Noah makes her think of the arc/water & shore also makes her think of water?? That's the only thing i can think of? Aside from that i think it "sounds" fine together!

Lennon Anthony Shore sounds nice together -- but i have to agree with your hubby -- not fond of Len or Lenny as nicknames

Additional suggestions:

Riley Anthony Shore
Rocco Anthony Shore
Nicholas Anthony Shore (nn's: Nick, Nicky, Nico)
Dominick Anthony Shore
Caiden Anthony Shore
Gavin Anthony Shore
Evan Anthony Shore
Landon Anthony Shore
Braedyn Anthony Shore

Love Noah! Noah Shore sounds fine!

Not too keen on Lennon, Lenny is cute though! xx

I think Noah Shore goes together fine. It's a lovely name, I think I prefer Noah to Lennon though. Hope you can find something you both love!

I love it too, Noah is such a nice name! and it sounds fine with your last name

I love Noah Shore, it sounds really nice and goes together perfect!
I love the name Noah too but my nephew is Noah! He has told me that if I have a boy I can call him Noah Junior!
I'm dreading telling the in-laws our choices of names!
x

I love the name, and I think Noah Shore sounds good. I would think that Noah being associated with water based on the flood, and Shore being another water word would make them go together more.

I like that it doesn't have a nickname as well. Noah is a lovely name and short enough that I wouldn't worry about needing a nickname. It'll be easy to learn to spell and write.
