Doc says "Don't find out the sex of baby"

I do agree with the rest that its your personal opinion and its your choice, I'm no fan of suspense anyway....

It is TOTALLY your choice and the doc had no right to try and convince you otherwise. Some people are just really opinionated and want everyone to think the same as them! It's your baby, not hers.

have them put the answer in an envelope and u can go back to it if u change ur mind or if u have the patience to wait that long u can open it after u deliver and see if they were right--and u can still have the surprise--- or right before baby comes and makes u more anxious to see ur lil girl or boy--- me i couldnt wait for the world had them tell me at 20 weeks when i had scan--- course i waited to 20 weeks just to be on the safe side and be less likely to have legs crossed the whole time and more likely to not confuse baby parts with umbilical cord---lol

Thank for all the replies anyone !! I've found them really helpful !!

That's makes me so mad that your doc felt the need to tell you that. It is your choice- or why would they offer that in the first place. I've known coulples that didn't want to know but found out anyway because it was obvious on the ultrasound. Someone told me not to find out and looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to. I'm a planner too. I stuck to my guns and said no I want to find out. I want to know what to buy as far a color and things go and I want to just simply know...it make it more real. It's a surprise for over 4 months anyway. Waiting even this long has killed me. I am supposed to find out Dec. 17th. My doc was excited to tell us when we get to find out. I was just ignore that. Some people are just so weird sometimes.
