Thanks for all the input girls - hubby really isn't keen on giving a girl the initials BJS so we probably wont go for it I really like the Isabella option, but I know quite a few Isabelle's and some friends who want this name for their babies so cant use that either!!!
Back to the drawing board for us! Better get a move on, 20 days to go eeeek!
Before I was born my parents were toying with the names Patricia Irene or Heather Ophelia. I'm very happy they stuck with Jennifer instead because otherwise my initials would have been PIG or HOG
No, point taken, I dont think we're going to go for it. Johannah was ny nan's name but she also had a shortened version (nothing like Johannah, something her baby brother gave her when he couldn't pronounce Johannah!) and was known by literally everyone by the nickname so we might just use that. LO will be asked forever what it means but better than being known for a BJ!!!!
I think kids are cruel to each other and if they want to will always find reasons to pick on each other and names to call. Isn't BJ like a nickname is the US, wasn't there a dinosaur on Barney called BJ? Hehe I googled it, yes there was.
When i was little the girl next door who used to baby sit me who was rather fat ahd the initials JCB, which was the 1980's and the time when people had the intials on the top of the windscreen or on the car door and and it still amuses me and my mum to this day.
