Does hb effect working tax?

I'm trying to work out some things,
We were receiving hb until we moved end of July,
We are luck enough to be living rent free for 18 months
But this means only hubbies wages to support us each week
Can I claim income support?
I did the online calculator but it's so confusing
It said that we shud be getting more wtc a week than we r but that's it

So to my first question does hb effect wtc? It cud be that I've not told them we no longer receive hb and it's stil in effect?
Can any one help please

The amount u get from hb takes tc into account.

It's the other way round, wtc will affect the amount of hb u get.

You have to tell tax credits of ANY changes as soon as they happen so your award can be adjusted
