my little one is 3 weeks old tomorrow, and he seems to drink so much milk.. hes having 150ml bottles a time, and sometimes he doesnt even go 3 hours without wanting another bottle, should i try hungry baby milk or do you recon hes too young ?

Hi hun, there is a growth spurt at 3 weeks followed by another one at 6 weeks & it's normal for your LO to ask for more. Offer him what he wants hun, it settles. I'ts too early to consider hungry baby formula xx

thankyou for your advice i just didnt know what to do or if i was giving him way too much lol x

If he takes more than what he needs he will throw up hun. You can never overfeed a baby. xx

I made the mistake of giving luke cow and gate hungry baby when he was 3/4 weeks old as he was feeding so much. It was a big mistake, he cried for 5 weeks and i mean really cried for the whole day, wouldnt feed proparly and during and after feeds pulled his legs up to his tummy whilst screaming. Our health visitor thought he was lactose intolerent and Our doctor thought it was reflux or colic, and said we just had to live with it. I then realised that the crying started about the time of his milk changing so researched it and found out that hungry baby milk, although says from birth on the carton is not recommended until at least 3 months as it is so hard on babies tummys. We changed him back to stage one, and the crying decreased and he became a lot happier x

Totally agree, my auntie is a health visitor and shes told me exactly the same, just to keep upping the feeds and to let her guide me. If she cries for more then give it to her, i was told that hungry baby milk can cause lots of problems like constipation and making them sick cos its far too heavy for them
