Dollar tree and false positives

I'm very confused right now, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I am 11 dpo today and have been testing everyday. I've been using FRER and Dollar tree. They've been negative until today. Earlier today I took a Dollar Tree, I looked at it for a minute or two and no line. When I went back and checked it later it was positive and almost as dark as the control. I then took a FRER and it was negative. What do you think? Could the Dollar Tree be a false positive??

It's possible for dollar tree to be positive before frer. Do u have pics

How long had it been since you looked at it the first time and when you went back to look at it?? I think they say if its over 10 mins not to go by what it reads because the test isnt considered reliable after that..

Here the photos of the Dollar tree tests. The one on the bottom is from earlier today and the one on the top is what it looks like now. I think it could be a defective one??

Um wow! If that's a broken test that is the worse ever.. I think bfp..

can you take another dollar tree test? i first tested with a frer and i had the faintest line,it was hard to see. the next day i tested with a dollar tree one and bfp and mine looks like urs, i took 3 more tests and they ere all the same and then took an answer test and bfp too. i think the $tree ones are a little more sensitive

I don't have any tests left. I'm going to buy some tomorrow. I'm nervous though, why would the FRER be negative?? Just don't want to get my hopes up.

Frer and answer changed the sensitive it not as sensitive ad they used to be

I think it may be a false positive... with a line THAT dark on a $ tree test, there is no way your frer should be negative.
Test again with FMU on a frer.
are you sure the $ tree wasnt an ovulation test? that was a super dark line.

The side of it says hcg.. its a pregnancy test I'd definately go with bfp, but its always a good idea to retest. Good luck/Congrats!

There were several ladies on here lately who got their BFP's on tests other than FRER whiel their FRER's were still negative....it can happen. I wouldn't hesitate at all to say that is a BFP for sure. Try taking a digi, that wont lie to ya! Congrats!!!

I'm going thru the same thing, except not nearly as dark. That definitely looks positive!

I've never seen an evap that dark, I'd definitely say BFP. I got BFP for 3 days on Dollar test, while getting negative FRER. It was the 3rd day before FRER picked up and even then it was FAINT!

I also have NEVER seen a dollar tree that dark be anything but a BFP... what would worry me would be the negative FRER. I would think there would be at least a very very light line with that dark of a line on a dollar tree test. That dollar tree test is pretty stinking dark!
