Hi ladies,

Does anyone know if the boots own brand variflow teats fit together ok, the wide neck ones? My 9 week old is on number 2 teats already but has recently started taking ages to finish his bottle and is then hungry 1 or 2 hours later when before he was eating 5 oz every 3 hours, I've tried upping his feed as I thought he was still hungry (he's now nearly 13lb) but he gets bored and can't finish it! I'm reluctant to move to dr brown stage 3 as he's still young but I know he could take more in the day, he's only getting through 20oz before 9 pm and then waking twice in the night for feeds to top himself up to 30oz... Any other tips or advice is greatly welcomed! I feed him at 7 am every morning but because he's had a largish bottle in the night, it puts him off his morning feed, then it goes wrong the rest of the day! Thanks for your help in advance, I'm trying to establish the every 3 hour feed but he screams after 1 or 2 hours bless him and then can only manage 3 ozs

Xxxx

We use the Boots own wide necked teats with Dr Brown's bottles and they're fine. x

How fast are they compared to doctor brown? I find the db ones quite slow in comparison to TT bottles, would you recommend the variflow ones? Thank you for taking the time to respond xx

Trying to remember tbh, we've switched between so many milks (1st, comfort, lactose free!) and switched teats for them all! My LO was about the same age as your little guy when we used the variflow teats for the thicker comfort milk and had no problems.
We're still using a mixture of Dr Browns level 2 and Boots own medium flow now with the thinner LF milk.
