Hi ladies, do any of you have ideas for a nice, short (above knee-length) dress I can buy to wear at my friend's wedding in Feb? I will be around 20 weeks by then so the bump will not be too huge.

I'm a size 10 but quite short (only 5'00"!), and my boobs are embarrassingly big these days, so I wouldn't want to wear anything that draws too much attention to them (no busty cleavage on display!)

I'm not feeling hugely inspired by any maternity dresses I see online, but I may not have checked the right places. I suppose it doesn't have to come from a maternity collection so long as it has space for the bump. Oh and I'm UK based.

I would be really grateful for any tips! Thanks!
xx

I have got my aunties wedding in May and I will be quite heavily pregnant then so im wondering the same.. to be honest if your bump isnt too huge it might be worth going to places like topshop or next etc that do maternity but will still look fashionable. I also shop on asos.com and they have a maternity section too so might be worth trying xx

How about a maxi dress? you could get a size 12 one that has some give in it:

oops, just re-read that you want an above knee length- I'll re-think.

Thanks hun - maxi dresses are beautiful but unforch they drown me as i'm so short! :)

will try topshop - thanks! already had a look on ASOS but didn't fall in love with anything.. :)

Just saw this wrap dress which would be very comfy to wear but is still perfect for a wedding- again, you could go for a size 12 as it looks roomy for small bump:

Wow - that is BEAUTIFUL! thanks so much, a terrific find! I'm gonna head to the big topshop on Oxford street this week and try it on! :flower:

try dorothy perkins i know they have a petite range and you might find something to go with the bump there, i seen some nice dresses on new looks website in the maternity section

since your only going to be 20 weeks you might be able to get away with a non maternity dress if your not too big so empire line dresses could sit very well

i was 20 weeks last christmas, i wore a dress from a regular collection. had lots of bump room too haha
think away the bolero and pants, obviously, it was too cold to go without

Hi,

I've just returned from holiday and bought a load of dresses from asos. I got some bargains and some of the dresses I bought would be suitable for a wedding.

Happy shopping!
