Hi,
Am sorry to barge into your forum but I am hoping to get your thoughts on some new guidance coming out. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence is saying women should not drink at all during pregnancy and if you must, stick to one or two units once or twice a week after the first trimester. Only last Autumn they said 1.5 units a day after the first trimester was fine and they admit there is no new evidence.
Confused? I am.
I'd like to quote some real life mums on this issue, whether you feel this is helpful or not and what your own choices are about drinking, whether things like this demonise women who do have the odd glass of wine.
Please get in touch.
I am on [email protected]
many thanks
Rebecca
