How is everyone feeling?
Today is going to be a very hard day - my son, 11 years old, is traveling out of the country, for soccer, without us. His flight leaves today I am SO sad, I will miss him so much and will worry about him constantly.
And. I woke up so, so nauseous... Nothing sounds good to eat but I am so hungry. I think if I eat, I will definitely throw up. YUCK

He'll be gone for 8 days...it's an amazing opportunity, he was invited to train with Real Madrid, a professional soccer club in Madrid (we're in USA). Very hard, but he'd hate us if we didn't let him go :/ my 6 year old dd was crying pretty hard and said, "I miss him so much, every part of him, even his bad attitude"
It made me laugh through my tears

So, no vomiting for me today, just off and on nausea...

That's so cool you get an early scan! Good luck, can't wait to hear an update!! I am excited to book my doctors appointment this week

Wow! Real Madrid!!! That's absolutely amazing! You must be so proud..... I would still hate to have my LO away from me (she is only 2 so I have a long way to go!)

I read all the posts and you seem like a wonderful group of ladies!
I just tested this morning and got a light second line. This will be #2 for us.
My baby girl is 21 months and she's a spit fire and so smart. She's great.
I have had some horrible symptoms so far. I think I developed what's called PUPPP
really early. I'm super itchy!
We decided this time around we're going to wait a little while to tell the family. Last time we told them at 5 weeks. They were all estatic, but we've had complications before and so we're gonna hold off till at least 12 weeks. My mother and mother-in-law seriously ask me if I'm pregnant yet, every time I see them. We live about 15 miles apart. It's been tough. A few weeks ago we have my DH's parents and brother&girlfriend over and she had given my 1st a bath and then when she saw me whispering to my DH about something she said "we better go home, she's ovulating!" in front of everyone because she went in my bathroom and saw an old test in the trash. She's crazy like that.
So I totally understand.
Anyways, I'd love to have some great chicks to keep in touch with through this process. I dont have any friends that have PCOS or really had TTC problems, so I would love the connection.
I'm glad I weigh less now than when I had my first. I was 224 the first time. It's always a struggle, but I love walking at night with my hubby.

Thanks Betty, we are very proud of him! It's so hard letting my kiddos out of my sight :/ we homeschool and have never used a babysitter (my mom has kept them) lol, so its been really hard! But, he FaceTimes us morning and night, and he is absolutely having the time of his life!! So that makes me feel better.

So, I have been craving cucumber sandwiches, blueberry granola & almond milk. Today, none of that sounds good...new craving - French fries! Boo went from pretty darn healthy to super unhealthy.I haven't caved yet! We haven't had fast food (or French fries) in months, but I REALLY want some. Hopefully it'll pass...

Also, I booked my first appt today!!!! Aug 28 - and I'll get a scan that day, yippee!!
I'll be 1 day before 8 weeks

I had fries craving and sour green apples the first time, this time nothing yet!
They say salty stuff like crisps is sign of boy and biscuits is a girl (worked for me and my friend our babies were 2 weeks apart and she ate biscuits and had girl I ate crisps and had boy)

I agree, the only pregnancy I craved sweets was with my girl. I kinda think I'm having a boy, just a gut feeling or something. Anyone else suspect a certain gender?

Well so far no cravings so I'll wait and see... But My Chinese gender calender said a boy first time and same this time..(I'd love another boy) but either is great and we'll be happy.

Hello ladies and welcome jelisamo....
I saw my jelly bean yesterday, was just a blob and not much else but was still good to see!
I have a feeling I'm having a boy.... I had so many symptoms with my DD and this time nothing, not even sore bbs. So my gut is saying boy!
I also craved all things sweet when I was last pg, it was terrible, I was having cake for breakfast!!!! This time I'm being pretty good, no craving yet and no sickness!!! Phew!
I guess there is still plenty of time o develop all those delightful symptoms!!!

Yea I'v no symptoms this time and last time SOOOOO sick and its another reason I think its a girl but am still waiting on the sickness just cant see me been so lucky not to be sick

Hey Ladies.. just checking in.. so I am currently at 5w2d (so In my 6th week I guess??) and I am finally getting pregnancy symptoms like I had with DD and DS: my boobs are hurting to the point I can't lay on my tummy...certain smells are making me nauseous.. like the dog food that DH opened this morning.. everytime I walk past the door, I smell it and almost puke.. YUCK!!! It is relieving that I am finally having symptoms, but my mom reminded me that with DD and DS, I didn't find out until I was 7 weeks, so I found out with this one way early.. so I am anticipating feeling really bad in the next few weeks. YAY!!

Hope everyone is having a good day today! Anyone have u/s pics to share? My scan won't be until 8/26 and that is way too far away for me!! lol also, due to my late ovulation, my EDD is 4/16/14, which is my uncle who passed birthday, so I consider that a really good sign.. I love him dearly, so that makes me so happy!
