Due April '14. Bump Buddy required

That's great mommyloves! About your edd, i mean :) the symptoms are a double edged sword, love them b/c it means strong hormones, hate them cuz it hurts, lol!!
good luck at your scan...My scan is 8/28... Seems so far away!

I'm 6+1 and my symptoms are getting stronger- very nauseated, gagging, tired, dizzy spells, and sore bbs. My cravings are awful too. I finally caved, after days of drooling, and had McDonald's. For like 3 days i was starving and couldnt stomach anything, only mcd's sounded good (GREAT!). I ate a chicken sandwich and French fries today, plus an oatmeal cookie :( what is wrong with me lol...hopefully that'll do it for the fast food!

thanks Wish4baby :) it is so hard to wait for the scan huh? I know I HAVE to wait because I want to see a little gummy bear and not just a yolk and sac or whatever.. but I am so anxious!!

aaah I know how you feel about eating.. nothing sounds good to me anymore.. and today, when I thought about Wendy's, I went for it.. and it was sooooo satisfying!! but I know that I am kinda on the right track because beyond that, I have been having salads every day for breakfast.. weird, I know.. but that is all I have been wanting to eat, so I just do it.

I can't believe your son is in madrid for soccer.. that is AWESOME!!! he sounds like a really dedicated player.. hopefully some college scholarships are in his future!! I would love for my kids to be so into a sport or activity (cooking or wood building maybe?). I try to encourage them all the time and let them learn new things, but they are still very young too, so I know I have some time. When did yours start playing soccer?

DH is working OT this whole weekend, so it will be just me and the kids... which is cool cuz I enjoy being with them and playing, but it is also hard because I am soo exhausted and they don't care lol :) oh well.. it should get better..

Hey all! Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I have been feeling so yuck!!! I don't know how I'll get through another 4 weeks like this!!!
Plus, getting ready for the school year (we homeschool) has been so time consuming.
My son is finally home from Madrid, yay!! Having him there was officially the hardest thing I've done.
Mommyloves, all my kiddos started team sports at 3! My husband and I are/were both soccer coaches, so even long before that, my kids were hanging out at the soccer fields daily, for hours on end! They all started with soccer and swim team at 3 (did mommy & me gymnastics and swim classes before that). only my oldest stuck with soccer & had a real love for the game. All of them still do year round competitive swim team. My oldest also does soccer, my 2 middle boys do MMA fighting, and my 6 year old daughter is in level 4 tumble and cheer. My little girl has been asking to play soccer in the fall, but doesnt want to quit her current activities, so we'll see (she's played in the past and did not like it, so I don't know where this came from lol, we call her our indoor cat b/c she's really girlie).

So, my scan and dr appt is next wed! That's very exciting. Can't wait to see baby and try to make some gender guesses.
Is anyone else feeling extremely awful lately?

wow wish4baby, that is awesome!! I need to start my kids in some sort of sports, but soccer here does not really start until 4/5, so this would be the hear for DS and DD wants to do gymnastics, so we will look into that for her too.

I am feeling horrible ( morning sickness came on at full speed at 6weeks and has not let up at all.. I have not puked yet, but have come very close. I feel nauseous all day long and it is worse when I have to make the kids lunch or dinner.. to the point I am asking DH to buy some stuff from the store that is not a lot of cooking because I can't handle it. I was not nauseous like this with DD or DS until week 8/9 so I am not sure why it is starting so early this time, maybe because #3? All I know is that another 7 weeks of this seems so horrible. but I am glad I am not alone in this misery!! lol

Gymnastics is a great sport! Requires so much strength and flexibility, its actually pretty amazing.
I know what you mean, the nausea is the worst. I have thrown up twice, but I am sick to my stomach all day and night. Once, I tried to gargle warm salt water - nope, that sent me to the toilet instantly, and the other time I took my prenatal before bed, as usual, but I guess I didn't eat enough b/c an hour later or so, I was on my knees in front of the toilet for a long time :(
And, I am just so so tired. I seem to feel ok only when I am eating (presuming its something I want). Not after eating, not before, only during, so I find myself eating very often. And I want real food, not sweets or snacks! I want fajitas or something, like full meals every hour or 2, I am going to be a whale if this keeps up!!
Maybe it is worse because its number 3, Idk. I don't remember mine being this bad either lol! And I know what you mean, I hate cooking stuff if it doesn't appeal to me, so they are just eating what I eat, or something like sandwiches!

Hi ALL!!
I am new here and I'm also due mid-April '14
Congrats to all of you!!
Can I learn from all of what food is good for daily consume? my husband & I read everywhere and we are too afraid to eat much... Other than porridge so far...

Hi ladies congratulations to all...

I am due 1st April although baby seems to be measuring 2 days ahead. Had a little scare with spotting this week so had an ultrasound and saw the bean laying happily with a heartbeat of 183 :o

This is my second pregnancy, I have twin boys from my previous marriage and this little bean is certainly a surprise as Ive just started seeing this man although been friends for 2 years.

A little overwhelming too since he lives in the US and I live in Australia.

I'm glad everything is ok! Neat you got to see baby :)
That is a long distance relationship for sure!! How old are your twins?

Congrats beekok! I don't think there is too much stuff to avoid...soft cheeses/unpaterized stuff, undercooked meat & eggs, large fish (high mercury), alcohol, limited caffeine...

I had my fist appt today! Had a scan, baby is measuring right on!! Heartbeat was 170 :) got a ton of blood drawn, they'll be testing me for everything under the sun lol. I didn't see the actual doc, will on sept 4. Very exciting. How is everyone else?

Hi ladies..... How are you all??? I'm almost 9 weeks now and still not having many symptoms, just hungry most of the time and a little tired, peeing a lot but that's it!!!
Had a scare this week as I've been bleeding for 2 days, no cramps, so I'm having a scan on Monday to make sure all is ok, wish me luck!!!!

ok question for you ladies.. how bad is your morning sickness? As soon as week 7 hit me, I have been having trouble keeping anything down, especially food. I puke every morning and then if I don't take a nap right after lunch, I will puke then or I will puke right after nap, but by the time I puke then, the food is mostly digested, so I feel like I am getting nutrients then. I dry heave all the time and I feel like I am losing my mind. Yesterday was the first time that I got up and was super dizzy I had to lay back down. I am trying to figure out of this is normal or not? I have never been this sick with DD or DS. With DS, I puked every now and then, but never this consistent, and never this extremely nauseous all day long. It seems like all day long I am trying my hardest not to puke, but sometimes I can't help it. Ginger tea, ginger ale, crackers, and all of the things I used last time are not helping :( :(

Betty- how did your dr appt go? everything ok?

Hi ladies..... I'm afraid I had a miscarriage at the weekend :-(
Obviously very sad as we have been trying for a long time but we understand that these things happen and we just need to keep positive and keep trying!
I wish you all a very healthy and happy pregnancy and hope to be back in this section again very soon.... Love to you all xxx

Betty- I am so sorry :( I know these things happen, but even though it is a natural thing, it is never easy. :hugs: I am here for you if you need to talk. I had an ectopic pregnancy so I am familiar with miscarriage and the pain of losing a baby. I wish you the very best! :flower:

I miscarried on 8/21. It's been a rough few weeks. It really took a toll on my DH and I, so we're taking a break from trying till the holidays. Some days are so overwhelming due to the type of work that I do (interpret for hospitals and Dr's) and other days I'm good. I'm working on planning my DD's 2nd birthday now. I hug her a little longer every night.
