I'm due in 13 days and my husband is currently deployed in 'sunnier climes' and may not make it back in time for the birth - have to set the wheels in motion to get him back once I am in labour! Soooo, I am also pooping my pants as this is my first and my lovely OH may not be there for me! Also, I am not in the UK with my friends and family.
However, on a more positive note, you and I will be in the right place being looked after by the right people, all who have our and our babies health as their main priority. I think a bit of fear is good, as the adrenalin will help get you through it all - as well as any drugs LoL!!I think that you have to try and be as open-minded as possible and take comfort that millions of women have done this before us and some of them many times!
