I finally have a bump! I haven't told my students yet that I'm pregnant, but yesterday one of them asked me if I was having a baby. I asked, "why? is my belly sticking out?" she replied, "yeah." Guess I can't hide it much longer!

That's funny! I told my coworkers and they ended up telling students (which I was fine with) so all my kids know. I've been asked if I was pregnant before by kids (when I wasn't, I put on some weight after my grandma died) and I was hoping they would know before my tummy told them. I hope your kids are as nice and excited as mine have been!

Me too!! Still no bump at all. My belly is definately bigger but I just look like a barrell instead of having a defined bump. I'm not particularly large either so I'm surprised I look like this. Looks like I've eaten too many mince pies...! X x x

Hi girls. I figured I should come on and show my newest bump pic (18w1d). It's getting ridiculous. I can't believe how much I've "popped" in the past few weeks. I am loving it though!

My students are 8-9 year olds. I'm going to tell them next week before we go on Christmas break. Many of them have had teachers in the past who were pregnant or have a younger bro or sis so hopefully they'll be on board. I'll be sad to leave this class, they're great, but I've already arranged for an excellent sub. I'm just going to tell mine as a whole group and see how it goes. good luck!

I told my students (7 year olds) as a whole group a few weeks ago and they responded well. They were very happy until they realized there will be a substitute at the end of the year!
