I need a refund on an item that is not as described...

I contacted seller who is refusing to refund the cost of the postage i will pay for me to return the item

Is this correct???

Thanks!

Jeans for Evie were described as used/worn but they have a brown stain on the crotch which means soiled :(

Seller is adamant the jeans are perfect and I've just changed my mind!

And seller keeps saying they will not pay for return delivery. What do I do now?

Can you dispute it with eBay/Paypal?

You have to pay to return it. All money including what you paid for them to post it to you should be refunded.

If they're refusing to refund it I'd start a dispute. I had to return something that was faulty and they sent me another again faulty and told me to return it again and wouldn't send me another they just kept saying they had. Rather than disputing it I just left them negative feedback and they kept messaging me to remove it, and I refused to remove it until they sent me a working charger. I eventually got it and changed it to neutral. Maybe try telling them you want it fully refunded or you'll leave negative feedback and that you'll be contacting EBay. Hope it gets sorted soon x

You cant do this, its feedback extortion.

Escalate it to a dispute (drop down menu next to the item in your bought list, resolve a problem) and ebay will refund you the cost of postage and packaging (or atleast what you paid + the postage again) but make sure you send it back tracked. Ebay almost always side with buyers in these cases, so you've nothing to loose :flower:

Send it back recorded delivery. Take photos of the soiled area. You pay postage back and the seller should refund the whole amount.
