ECV Transverse/ Oblique baby!

The Alchemist..... it's a shame you are having to have a section but I must admit I have only heard positive things about them and WOW you will get to meet him tomorrow so that's exciting! There's always a chance baby flips back to breech for me and I end up with a section too.
Good luck for tomorrow..... :)

Donna - I'll let you ladies know how my section is tomorrow. The nurses on my Friday appointment 2 days ago reassured me that it's not as bad as most people think. She said the dr who will operate on me is the same dr who did hers a few years back and that he is really good. So, I feel a bit relaxed and calm about tomorrow. As for you, think positive only, that baby will stay heads down all the way to delivery. I see you're 38 weeks. Hope you've got your bags packed. I went into labor at 38+5 with my first. Anything can happen at this point.

I most definitely felt him turn, it was incredibly painful and movements like I'd never felt before. I has a quick us at my obgyn office on Wednesday, just a...let's check the baby and they confirmed he was head up still. I had a growth scan bookedfr Friday and to double check baby position in order to go ahead with ECV at 37 weeks...the morning of the scan I woke up with the baby moving like crazy, huge stretching movements and feeling legs and Arms poking all over. It was really painful. I got in the car and started driving, asked dh to pull over 10 minutes in because I had to breathe throu the pain, I thought, oh god, am I going into labour? I had a sudden movement and then needed the bathroom, ran into Starbucks to use the bathroom and could feel baby stretching my uterus like crazy. I got back in the car And the pain started to subside, I felt him hiccuping and for first time, felt them low down..felt a bit off and dizzy.

They scanned me and told me, oh, he's head down. So I literally felt him turn himself around from frank breech to vertex. His estimated weight was 6lb 8oz at the scan, so he managed it at a good size and my fluid was the low normal at 8.9.

Sweet - wow! That sounds like some crazy turning activities haha. I did read that some ladies feel dizzy when baby turns. How weird what we feel associated with their change of position. Well, congrats on the turn and fx baby stays nice and comfy the way baby is now. Not too long for you now.
