I'm very pleased with myself and thought I'd share... LOL...

Our 14 yr old just LOVES hearing funny stories and memories about herself, as would most teenage girls as the world revolves around them right? haha... so I thought a lot about something we could give her right before the baby comes to make her feel extra special...

We decided to put together a small scrap book of "Mia Moments" hehe- little stories her Dad or I will write about moments we've had with her... funny, cute or otherwise. I'm going to include some pics of us over the years as well... it will give her something to read and share with everyone she knows I'm sure

Already bought the scrap book kit... just need to print out some pics and get a few more stories together. It will also give me something crafty and fun to do while I'm on leave before our LO comes.

Thanks for being there to listen ladies!!

Aw, that's such a lovely idea! I'm sure she'll love it :)

brilliant idea....in fact I might have to steal it for my DS! He is only 6 but loves hearing stories and looking at pics too.

You are amazing. She is blessed to have you in her life!! :hugs:

I agree! What a great mom you are! Thinking of the older kiddos while so much attention is focused on the babies is super important. What a great idea you have. I bet she'll love it :) I may do something similar for my oldest, although she's only 5 tee hee heee

Thanks ladies... I know how super excited she is to finally have a little sister... but I also know there is a little part of her that worries the focus won't be just on HER anymore ;) lol. I just want her to know how amazing she is and how lucky I am to have her as my kid the past 5yrs... I'm also gonna make sure her and I get some good "girl time" in together before the baby arrives.

Such wonderful and supportive woman her on BNB. Love it!!! And please feel free to "steal" the idea if you like it... hehe... I know I do ;)

Just want to say what a lovely thought! Something to cherish even far into the future when she has little ones of her own.

To the other ladies.. lovely supportive comments.. B&B at it's best! Good luck all. Xxx
