Ours brought the advent calendars and the Elf on the Shelf book

Turned up with the book advent and a letter. Ds4 asked about chocolate calenders the other day and was worried I might not have got any in time so I showed him I had got some, so the elf couldn't bring them this year.

I didn't take a picture but maybe I should going forward mine arrived with the Book Advent Calendar, a note explaining the advent calendar and some treats (DD - Christmas hair band, christmas bobble and elf PJS and DS - Kahki nitted hat & elf PJs)

I finally found the door and wrapped the box to be left on the doorstep with a letter from Santa

Inside has all goodies for the children ! So excited !

What is everyone's elf's up to tonight?

I haven't made any plans. Last year I planned every day and didn't stick to it. I might shove him in the tree....

We have elf reports based on the girls behaviour (I love the works) so if they've been good they will bring a gift or craft if they've been bad they will just hide somewhere.
Hoping it helps improve DD1s behaviour

It's still the morning here. Ours hid under the tree and brought the kids their December first box of goodies.

Just a simple one today, was going to do pancakes but 1st December crept up on me this year so I'll do them another day!

Leila is finally old enough to perhaps notice the elf (she just turned 2 in Oct). We don't have the real elf or the real book, will just use a random elf that I have.
Will also wait until 6th of December to start since that is the day that we always put up the Christmas tree (St Nicholas day).
Following here for ideas in the meantime
