Hi Ladies

This is something that I often think about as Ive never had any children before and ive watched a couple of births and they all seem to have no pubic hair what so ever! Sorry tmi i know but what are you planning to do?
I never usually wax unless going on holiday! and im so embaressed about it i cant ask anyone else, so thought ide post it on here! Its also for fun as I know everyone will have their own opinion and preference! lol.

I know we prob wont be caring much at the time our babys want out!

xx

at the begining of my pregnancy i was like i have to keep things neat ect but as u get bigger it becomes harder to do. (i shaved and trimmed)

i was very much like god i cant let ppl see "me" looking a right mess. but after i went over due i gave up and when u r in labour u dont care what u look like or who see's just aslong as u get this baby out.

so i u dont want to dont feel u have to as mws have seen alot of u no whats and im sure they dont care what it looks like

Hi!

I got waxed regularly towards the end of my last pregnancy so I was "tidy" for labour lol! I normally do it myself but couldnt see anything down there  It will be the same routine for me this time round too! x

Well I can't stand having anything down there anyway, so once I get to the point where I can't sort it out myself, I will be off to be waxed. Ouchy, but so much nicer :)

Well, I usually go for a brazilian (ie the landing strip, not all off) wax every 6 weeks so I'm planning on keeping that up right through my pregnancy :)

I've never had more than a little bikini wax... and i don't what I'm going to do once I can take care of things myself :S

'Down in Devon' it's hard to find a decent wax place :/

i was just saying this to my friend yesterday!! i am completely 100% in need of a make over down there! i've let it become so bad its beyond a joke  theres no way in hell anyone is seeing 'it' in this state, im deffo gonna have to go for a wax, at about 30 weeks and then again at 36 (so its in a half decent condition lol) xxxxx

I shave at home (can't stand the discomfort of waxing as it tends to leave me burnt for a week after)..........when i get too big to do it myself then hubby is going to help (sounds mucky but still!) he he

lol, Thanks ladies its funny i wasnt sure if anyone was going to reply. Great! Thanks again! xx

haha! I am with you aimee-lou.. but wont get OH doing it. Geez dont trust him with that!!

I used to go every 6 weeks for a brazillian but have seriously let 'it' go! I will defo start going back nearer the end of my pregnancy to make sure its nice and neat for labour!!

I'm dreading this. I'm clean shaven down there and don't know what i'm going to do when i get too big! Eek! I've never had a wax. . .not keen on one either. X

Can you use hair removal cream? This is a serious option for me before labour as you have to have a bath anyway to 'relax' so might as well do something constructive!

Now going to the immac website to check it out!

Are Creams suitable for everyone?
Creams can be used by everyone, including pregnant women, as long you follow the Precautions and Directions for Use. It is advisable for teenagers under 16 to be supervised by an adult when using any depilatory method.

Verdict is....Cream all the way!!

I am not keen on waxing either! alch! but i cant go to a salon and say i dont wanna be waxed but gonna do sumthin with that! haha!

Oh its a horrible thought, but thanks for answering! xx

Waxing's not that bad, honestly! After the first time you really get used to it. And let's face it, it's not as painful as labour

Thats what i was thinking although often when i do my bikini line for holiday i get really itchy so wouldnt wanna end up itching all over!:rofl: Think ill test it soon see how it turns out! lol. Oh im scared ive never went the full way, only ever a we bikini line! lol. xx

Seriously, you will not care when your in labour whether or not youve trimmied.
Only thing on your mind is getting through contractions dont care how many people are staring down at your lady bits lmao!

I mainly shave and trim to keep myself neat and tidy down there, who knows what im going to do when it gets to the stage I cant see down there
I too might need to enlist the help of OH as I really dont think I could stand the pain of having a wax done!!

Waxing doesn't hurt??!! I went for one before my wedding - had legs, underarms and bikini done - bikin went from an inch either side to about a millimetre either side as it killed!!!

if you lay in the bath your bumps tend to move from the front and therefore you can see most of it to shave yourself. well this is what i did with other 2.

at the end of the day the mw or doc are not there to see how nice your bits are, they are there to deliver your baby! and if your in that much pain you really wont care if you got straggly bits, not bin cut at all or none.
