Embryo Donation - exciting news!

I had a call from the ACU this morning, they have found a couple who would be able to use our embryos. They've had a failed IVF cycle but they need embryos.

We have two lots of embryos. One set of 4 frozen at day 3 which are the ones they would use for this couple and another set of 2 blastocysts which they would have to just store.

We have to go back in the next couple of weeks for another blood test, something to do with chromosomes this time and to sign the paperwork.

The couple will probably have their cycle around March/April time.

I feel really excited!
