Most definitely not. I think all of OH's friends think I'm bloody mental for babywearing. Anyway I really don't have the money to buy a wrap.

Thanks for the mascara recommendation!!

I think another pp suggested it but facewipes for mum is a good idea. I've not washed my face at night since having baby (not that I did regularly before)! Facewipes would have been great to have around.

If tummy band too much, I just bought high waisted control pants from Primark, I think they were £5. Primark also sell big sleep shirts which are cosy and great to breast feed in.

I've found M&S stretchy vests brill too. 2 for £8 and the straps are stretchy so I just pull it down to feed, easier and cheaper than breastfeeding vests.

While I'm still thinking about this I thought I would add this - if you wanted to send her food you could do so via just-eat.co.uk if youre in the UK, you can pay by card and get it delivered whereever, lots of different takeaways! xx

My mum did similar for me. My bag contained the following and I was greatful and used it all
- dry shampoo
- breast pads
- maternity pads
- cotton wool
- mummy bubble bath
- simple baby top to toe wash
- baby sponges
- pair of baby booties
- newborn socks
- vests
- pj's for baby
- pack of nappies
- pack of wipes
- small teddy bear
- slippers
- chocolate
- lucozade sport drinks
- towel of baby

How about Lip balm and hand cream for mummy? Some fruit tea? Cleansing wipes? A chocolate bar? If she is due in winter then some slippers or slipper socks?

It's such a lovely idea x
