My twins are 12 weeks old, and have shown now and again that they can go 5 or 6 hours between feeds. This has been sometimes in the day, sometimes evening and the odd time at night. I'm trying to get them to have an extra ounce each feed during the day to fill them up a bit more, but can anybody give me an idea how to shift the 5/6 hour gap to night time rather than other random times of day? I'm not trying to push them if they are not ready, but I know they can do it and just need to adjust the timings. Many thanks x

Maybe try feeding them on a 3-4 hourly schedule during the day to make sure they are full and get their milk quota. Make their last feed a "dream feed" (feeding without waking them) at 10-11pm. This should hopefully see them through to 5-6am BUT its not garunteed. xxx

Thats what I did when my LO started showing signs of being able to go longer periods! I don't let her longer than 4 hours without a feed in the day and give her a dreamfeed when I go to bed at 11pm, which sees her through until 5/6am xx
