End of February Testing Thread - Welcome back January Testers and welcome new comers!

Drop and roll! :haha: I actually have more leakage with other positions

I have heard also that it's good for the woman to O after the guy. The video I posted on here a while ago shows how the cervix "dips" into the pool of sperm as a woman has the big O. It's supposed to help it dip into the sperm, suck it up and the contractions of the uterus help the sperm work it's way up. I'm sure the woman going first would produce pretty similar results though...

Yes yes yes!! I always sorted myself out again after hubbie was done to suck those little suckers up!!

How do you got from doggie to laying on your back with hips up and not lose everything?

Ahahaha... here is a visual for you. Go into a modified downward facing dog, with your head on the bed but your booty still up in the air. DH prepares a pillow, then slowwwwly, as Rachel said, drop and roll with your booty on the pillow (covered in a towel, of course).

Yes yes! And put a softcup under that pillow so you can just slip it in after you roll over.

So last night, DH kept saying not to get too excited because AF might show up today. I kept trying to explain that pregnancy tests pretty much only work if you are in fact pregnant. He just said, "Well, I'll believe it when blood results come back." So this morning, I left this on the counter for him. Think he'll get it now???
P.S. The bottom test is from yesterday. I like how the line was darker today! :happydance:

pdx- finding out someone is prego when you are trying is the HARDEST thing ever. I am so sorry for you. I completely get you. You have every right to be upset.

AFM, another call from the doc... as I said I LOVE this doc, but I fear every time they call me. Well this time they called to tell me I am POSITIVE for cystic fibrosis. DH is neg for CF so our kids have a 100% chance of being carriers, but 0% chance they will be positive. So that is good for the kidos.... but for me, I am scared being positive! I also found out I am neg for spinal muscular atrophy (DH is a carrier), which is good because that means our kids will have a 50% chance of being carriers, but wont have it.

golds, good and bad news mixed, but info is info, and forewarned is forearmed. you'll also be able to give the heads up to your kids without them having to do the testng (except by then we'll have so many other things to test for - i heart science!)

PDX - What do you mean she is telling you all the things you she'd like you to do for her??? Is she making demands?

Nikki - I'm glad you got good news! I know it's scary to be a carrier for CF, but I am too. And like your DH, my DH is negative as well. Damn ethnicities!

PDX- 3 months seems awfully early for her to be asking you to do things for her! Cheeky mare!! (Sorry) Bless your heart, it is heart crushing when you hear someone else is pregnant when you so want to be. :hugs:

Emily- Im not just a carrier, I am positive. I have CF! But the good news is the kids will only be carriers, but I think I might be recommended to go to a CF specialist.

Nikki- you just discovered you are positive for CF?! Not just a carrier?! That's actually insane to me, how old are you again (if you don't mind me asking). Most people find out about it when they are extremely young, and sadly don't have a very high life expectancy rate. But it sounds like you have a much milder form :hugs: Glad your hubby isn't a carrier! No need to have ANOTHER thing to stress about when TTC! I actually lost a friend 2 years ago to Cystic Fibrosis and began spreading awareness about it after she passed. <3 RIP Alyssa <3

Oh I miss understood, sorry! Did you know previously that you had it? You have never mentioned it before.

Cassidy- Yes I am POSITIVE (according to the call I just got from the doc., I haven't seen the paperwork)! I am 28 years old. (TMI) i have bowel issues, they diagnosed me with IBS after sticking a camera up my butt and down my throat. I got pneumonia about 4 years ago and was in the ER, but I think it is because I got my tonsils removed a month before and had issues sneezing (because it hurt me too much) and I think all the bacteria stuck in my lungs. Can you please fill me in on here or PM me about what you know. I am scared for myself. I read if you have CF you usually don't make it past 37....
