I had a day of intermittent severe cramping and reduced movement, my partner came home from work and took one look at me and got me to phone. We ended up waiting for hours in a room - they had a baby resuscitator with tiny preemie hats on it in the room which terrified me :(

Needless to say by the time I was seen I was a nervous wreck, then they struggled to get her heartbeat for a few minutes which caused me to really panic - I honestly thought I had lost her!

Eventually got her but she was apparently moving so much they couldn't get a proper measure of the heart rate! I have no idea how I managed to go 10+ hours sitting around doing nothing not feeling her!

Still no reason for the cramping but I have been referred for physio so hopefully they can help!

Oh my that must have been so scary! She must have been positioned just right that you couldn't feel her. I hope you get to go home soon and relax! :hugs:

How scary i was up and down triage with dd1 due to reduced movement, least ther going to help with the pain hun xx

So glad she's ok :), sorry you had such a scary time :(. I hope everything settles down now and the physio helps with the cramping. We ended up in triage the other week for change in movement pattern when the bump refused to move two mornings in a row - it was all ok (and it wasn't long to wait) but it's always scary.

Thanks ladies I'm feeling much better today. Had more cramping this morning but it has calmed down. She was really active this morning but has been pretty quiet all afternoon, trying to relax but it is hard. My bump looks bigger over the past few days so I am hoping she has just had a growth spurt.

I think it's a growth spurt, for me the quieter times also coincide with the bump getting bigger x
