heya,
came back from holiday to find our appointment letter for FC.

We have a choice of 5 in our area, but we are not sure which one to go to and need some reccomendations?

Homerton Hospital, London
Qeens Hospital, Romford
Whipps Cross, Walthamstow
Queens Elizabeth, Woolwich
Newham Gen., Essex

Queens in Romford would kind of be closest, but want to go to the best, (not asking for much!)

Does anyone also have any info on Redbridge/Essex PCT and what amount of ICSI/IVF goes you get and waiting times etc?

cheers m'dears xx

hi daisy,

i live in essex but i have not yet been referred for my IVF so i'm not sure what is best. I was told about holly house, buckhurst hill and the Essex fertility centre in Cheshunt so far.

I wish you all the luck in the world and I hope you get your BFP soon

Hi Daisyboo I'm under Queens in Romfordand I have a friend who wasat Queens andnowunder Hommerton.

Queens has been ok for me at timeI have bee frustrated with them but generally they have been good. Location, Ithink is an important factor and sometimes(ifyou start treatment there) you may need to go therequite frequently so this wouldbe easier if you are nearer.

Regarding pct and waiting times I'm not too sure. Redbridge seems to be average to a bit longer as it is quite densly populated(guessing here). All I know is that when I had to have my Lap & dye at hHarlow hospital it was soo quick where as Redbridge would have been longer.

Under Redbridge pct you get 3 iui's and then 3 ivf's. Queens refer to St. Barts, in London.

If you need anymore q's please pm me

hi pixie lou and aflight84, thank you both for your replies!

i called Queens today, as they were closest and i did relase that for tests etc, it'd be best to be close.

pixie, i tried to pm you, but i get a message saying you do not except private messages?
Can i ask how long you had to wait for you appointment, my letter says its an average 41 day wait. Did you get seen sooner or later than this?
Also, what did they do at this appointment? Do they repeat at the bloods and SA or do they go by my GP test results??

may i ask where abouts you are with all this, have you been on clomid etc? sorry if asking to much?!? tell me to go away!

xxxx:hugs:
