I looked up the law and what it looks like is it's legal to feed any baby any age anywhere, the 6mo thing is for what action you can take had you been discriminated against and asked to leave. If the baby is under 26wks you can take action under the maternity or sexual discrimination ...if they are 27wks or older you can still take them to court but only for sexual discrimination. So either way you are allowed to nurse in public, it isn't illegal at any age. This article helps explain it, but when you google it there are lots of things explaining it
