extra long AF

I'm new to this forum so apologies if i don't quite speak the lingo yet or if i've posted this in the wrong place.

I'm currently on the TWW and it's driving me mad however i'm not even sure i've ovulated this month. I've been TTC and my previous cycle i thought i might be pregnant (had symptoms) but when i tested it was BFN. (i did test 3days before AF due - maybe this was too early?). then AF was 3 days late and then i carried on for 17 days. although not proper AF but brown blood (sorry TMI). obviously when i should have been ovulating i was bleeding so can i still have ovulated?

the Dr said it was possible i miscarried but i had a BFN so i'm still curious as to what actually went wrong. i've never had an AF that long before. i guess my next AF is due next week but as my cycle is all messed i'm a bit lost. i'm now getting EWCM. I don't suppose there is any chance i could be pregnant given that i DTD around the time i should have been ovulating.

any ideas?

I've had a chemical pregnancy, I got my hope's up soooo high. Did like 30 test's in a row and then it all went downhill. But then I didn't feel as many symptom's as i do now. Finger's crossed, you'll get your BFP

well am thoroughly confused now as am now getting symptoms of ovulation so thinking i've maybe ovulated late this month. So i'm now either 1-2 DPO or 11 DPO I just don't know!!!!! I just wish my cycle would return to normal!!
