How are you supposed to keep your pregnancy a secret when I feel this tired...surely people can see I want to fall asleep on my feet! I am in my pjs ready for bed now, the only problem is I have to go and get my older boys from beavers in a minute:blush:

I am 5 weeks 3 days (from LMP) (more if you count from date I ov'd) and have been feeling queasy for about a week but these last few days I feel like I have hit a brick wall! Last time I was at this stage of pregnancy I was getting over emergency surgery so probably didn't notice how tired I was....or maybe I am just getting old!!

Its so hard keeping it quiet. I didn't have that luxury on previous pregnancies as they all had dramas in early pregnancy which meant everyone had to know...I am hoping to keep quiet as long as possible this time round...but how hard is it! LOL!

When will you all tell others? Or have you told already?

I have told two close friends one of whom I work with, but I won't tell anyone else until we've had the scan!

Just blame your other kiddies for making you tired if ppl question you! People probably won't even notice anyway unless they have a reason to be looking out for something

*hugs* I go to bed at 9 tho

I'm 10 coming 11 weeks " i think", going on the LMP thing, and we,ve not told anyone, i didn't last time round untill i was almost 4 months and was hoping to do the same again, but i am seriously tired, i'm sure i wasn't like this last time, the bags under my eyes are taking the mick, i'm sleeping terrible and to be honest its started getting to me!

Do you think you get more tired with the more pregnancies you have??

I don't really have any ideas to help but sympathise with you. I'm 13 weeks now and just starting to get over the extreme tiredness. still asleep by 9 o'clock tho lol

Back from beavers...LOL I am so paranoid I am sure everyone was looking at me thinking " is that woman in her pj's and trainers" LOL

I suppose I did less when it was just me and DH now I have 2 6 year old boys, plus working 4 days a week and I am older I suppose it will be harder...roll on the next 8 months!

I also am waking at 5am to have a pee and then can't get back to sleep so that isn't helping either!

you know the more i learn about how scary the first trimester is the more i wish i hadn't told everyone! but i told everyone right away because it seemed more real to me when I shared it.
but as i worry about complications I wish i had held off. i know we all worry and it's probably nothing, but it does seem practical to wait till 12 weeks is what I hear.
also about the exhaustion. I hear you. i woke up from a 2 hour nap at 4:30pm it's not 9pm and i am still in bed. yikes! that means i've basically been in bed for 5 hours and I slept 10 last night... i sound lazy but i'm not. I hate laying around, but i'm blessed that i'm able. not sure what'd i'd do if i had a lot of responsibilities right now.

the more kids u have the less u can rest! i know that much. i told our parents and my sister as otherwise i don't know how i'd cope. but none of our friends know.

i told everyone when i got my bfp! hubby was way toooo excited to wait.. i think you just have to do what you feel is best in regards to telling or not xx
