Went to Dreamworld yesterday with my 3 kids and a friend and her 2 kids. (It was a public holiday in Brisbane, so we weren't wagging school )
We had a great time - my little daredevil DDs wanted to go on all the rides - including Wipeout which I refused to go on. They were just tall enough to be allowed to go on by themselves, with me watching from solid ground!
We tried the new Shockwave ride - that's a goodie. Not too scary or vomit inducing, but great fun. (You stay upright all the time, which is good.
And we enjoyed the usual favourites - the Log Ride (got wet), the Thunder River Rapids (got even wetter and spent the next hour walking around looking like I'd wet myself), the MotoGP ride (great to be able to skip the queue as we need to use the sidecars) and the boys had a ball in the Laser Tag area.
Who else is a big kid and a theme park fan like me ??
