Fun thread! Here's me! I love this picture, I was all tan and thin getting ready for my wedding. Cammy was NOT cooperating though. I'm Krysta, I'll be 24 next month, DH is 28. We've been married since August but we've been together four years next month. We have two furbabies, Cammy in the picture and Abbey, who's about 8 months old. We also claim the neighborhood strays and ferals outside, give them two good meals a day and try to get them all spayed and neutered. I'm a big animal lover. A little crazy about it sometimes too.

We have the odd few here, and I'd love to care for them but they just run away!

Do you get lots of stray cats there?

We have the odd few here, and I'd love to care for them but they just run away!

We have a lot. At first I couldn't get very close to a lot of them, but I fed them at the same time and the same place every day and gained the trust of a lot of them. Feral cats are harder, they're born wild and so it takes a LONG time for them to trust you, if they ever do. Let me warn you though, it seems simple enough just feeding them, but if you don't want to do the spaying and neutering things, it's best not to feed them. Otherwise, they'll keep coming to eat and they keep multiplying and it gets a little out of hand. Plus, if you're like me, you wind up taking them to the vet when they're sick and it's even more money.
