Faint BFP, then Negative

Yesterday I was 12 dpo and got a very faint bfp with morning urine. Today tested in the afternoon and I dont think I see any line anymore? Has this happened to anyone else and still been pregnant? I dont know if I need to use the first mornings urine to test? Im bummed. anyone advise or comments would help. Thanks

Being 12dpo, it's still a bit early since implantation occurs anywhere between 6 to 12dpo. So lets say you just implanted, you may still need first mornings urine in order to get a positive. It would be weird to get a positive in the morning and a negative in the afternoon, unless you're using 2 different brands. But if they're the same brand then I would assume you got a real positive but you should test again in the AM. G/L

I had a faint positive and then a negative with the same kind of test a few days later. I still haven't had af, so I went for a blood test, still waiting on the results. Since it is still early, maybe try testing again in the morning with fmu?

Definitely test again tomorrow morning with FMU. It may still be too early to detect hcg if it's even a bit diluted. Fxxxx!

I takes about 72 hours for HCG levels to double after implantation, so if you're only just pregnant, there's a good chance it wouldn't show up with anything other than FMU for the first few days. Give it a few more days then test again.
