Faint lines in the beginning

Haven't had a chance to read all the replies sorry!
I have had 2 pregnancies. The first I had clear dark lines from the beginning that showed great progression each day. I lost that baby at around 7 weeks.
This time round I had extremely faint lines even after I'd missed my period and they never progressed particularly well - they did get more definite but never dark. I'm now nearly 30 weeks.
Lesson for me was that a line is a line, dark or faint doesn't tell you anything. So congratulations!!
