false positives on blue dye tests

i've been reading up on blue dye tests, and it seems like most of the false positives are either really thin lines; they either appear within the timelimit or a few hours later. however, i've taken 2-3 EPT blue dye tests, 2 yesterday and one this morning, and i could see a very faint positive line on all of them. can you still get a false positive on a blue dye test if the positive line is the same thickness as the negative line? my positives seemed to have darken a bit since yesterday, but i still dont want to trust it as im not getting positives on pink dyes just yet. my period is a day or so away.

ive taken blue dye tests before and all of my false positives were usually thin and appeared after the time limit. this line appeared right after taking the test. what do you think?

It looks like a BFP but I don't trust them after getting a false one last month. Although like you said mine was thin but didn't show up in the time limit.

That looks pretty thick so I would consider it bfp. Test tomorrow with a frer!

I have gotten some pretty convincing lines on blue dye tests. I swear they should take those off the market. That being said, a lot of people have still gotten their real BFPs on them. I'd say that there is no way to be sure at this point which is which, but I can definitely see the line. Have you gotten a FRER or digital?

i took two more epts this morning, and the same line was there, but not as dark as the one from yesterday morning. and i took a pink dye answer test, and it was negative. my period is due tomorrow though, but im not sure what to think. surely i wouldnt keep getting light thick positives on 4 ept tests!? i dont know.

If the lines came up within the first 7 minutes I would say bfp, How long after you peed did you take the photo?

I am not sure where you have read about false positives, but the docs that I have spoken to and the ones that I have seen (saw 3 diff to be sure that I was preg this time ) said that a false positive is LESS likely to occur. The more faint line is just an early result as you should wait a little longer to test....

def. a positive line, but can it be trusted? every single one i've taken has showed had a faint thick line.

I think that on the last test with pink there is a hint of a line.... I would wait another day or so and test when you first wake up! GL, still thinking you have a Relax and test again.

the blues i took this month were thin but within time limit. and someone else i know had a thick one but faint within.. but i do verymuch see a line on your FRER. sooo BFP congrattss
