False Positives...

I had two with walgreens generic EPT's... I was totally convinced I was pregnant.

Turns out I hadn't even ovulated yet! Anyhow here is what it looked like.

Anyone else ever get a false pos before?

No, mc was last August

Test were cheapy red dye ones. Some people have higher than normal hcg all the time because of ovarian cysts or peri-menopause etc.
I think I'm one of them. Either that or I still have some bits from my last mc leftover

In any case I'm seeing a fertility specialist on 9th June, so all should be sorted soon enough

But I still wonder what caused my test to become pos... the lines we there - the right color and width, ect. I'm kinda pissed. I should just call I guess.

We all have certain amount of hcg in us all the time, it is usually less than 5mlU, but some tests can be very sensitive and can pick up say 6mlU, so we may have got caught there. We need a stronger line!

well that's news to me! So maybe those tests ARE good... just a little too good

same here...stay at home mom not that thats not a job but I am sure it would be pretty exhausting to work and come home and tend to house chores too...
