I found this last night and spent time reading women's formula feeding stories: how they got there, why they do it, how they feel. I felt very encouraged and happy reading this resource. I don't know if anyone else has heard of it, but I thought I would share.

There's so much pro-breastfeeding info out there, that it's so easy to feel left out and sad to not be a part of it. Often you can feel shamed or guilty. This site with these stories have really helped me, and I hope they help other women too.

I've been reading this blog for quite a while now.

It's wonderful, and it's not pro-formula, or pro-breastfeeding, or anti-breastfeeding, or anything such as that. There are a lot of "lactivists" out there that really hate this blog, but it's because they're missing the point, and that point is simple:

Feed and love your baby. The WHAT and HOW you feed your baby is your choice, and your business, and you shouldn't have to explain or justify it to anyone.

Yes the fearless formula feeder is fab! Not anti BF, just pro respecting people's choices, circumstances and different opinions. She has written a book too, I haven't read it but I would love too. Some of the stories of women struggling with BF made me cry when I read them. It's an excellent resource.

Just adding another +1 to this. I found her site extremely helpful and anyone hating on her is missing the point entirely.

And the sad part about it, is that this blog is very well-hated upon...

Long live the power to choose what and how we feed our babies. It's only 1 of the many, many decisions as mothers we'll have to make for our kids, and either mode of feeding babies results in happy, healthy, intelligent children. We have to do what works for US, and stop making apologies.

I laughed at the "Brestapo" :D. Sadly i know a lot of women like that. I really don't care how someone feeds their child as long as it is fed :).
