Fears Confirmed - 3rd Missed Miscarriage

I have been for a 9 week scan today to discover that the baby had died, it seems it must have just been after my 6 week scan. I actually seen a heartbeat at the 6 week scan so even more disappointed

Totally gutted, i had convinced myself that the same had happened again as my symptoms had disappeared at around 7 weeks, but that can be normal for some people so i tried not to worry to much but having 2 missed miscarriages already, you can't help but worry

I am glad i didn't wait till my 12 week scan

I'm so sorry, it is even more tough to deal with when you have had a good scan already.
I hope that you will get some investigations so that perhaps they will find a reason and work out some treatment for next time. thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Oh hun, I am so, so sorry I had one MMC in April this year and cannot begin to imagine how you must be feeling after 3 Can you get any testing done now to find out any possible cause?

I was going to opt for a D&C so that they could test the tissue but the lady who i seen at gynae unit said its unlikely they can do that becuase it is dead tissue thats 3 weeks old and there is risks of infections etc with the operation

She did mention getting some tests done for blood clotting and that if i do suffer from that then i can have some type of injections in my stomach

I don't really fancy them but if i have to have them so that i can be a mum then that is what i will do

I have not told the other half yet cos he would of ended up not going to work today and he is being filmed tomorrow by the researchers of 'Take Me Out' as his son has got on the show. He seems really excited bout it and i don't want to dampen his day so i am trying to hold off from telling him till he comes home tomorrow night

You will all think i am mad for not telling him yet but he will obviously be upset and not enjoy his day tomorrow with the film crew

I have had the tests for blood clotting and now I am on the clexane injections. They are not that bad as you inject them in fat not muscle, and so far they are working for me.
You should ask for the following tests:
1) blood clotting tests for you
2) day 3-5 hormone tests for you
3) genetic blood tests for you and your partner
4) pelvic ultrasound for you.

In 50% of cases of recurrent miscarriage, one of these tests shows up a possible cause. If you know what the cause is then they can find the right treatment to improve your chances.

It's not mad not to tell him, I can understand your reasons, but have you got someone else supporting you at home? It would be awful to be all alone at this time.

hope they can find out if theres a reason for this?
i must admit i worry about this all the time even though i have heart the h/bs you just worry because things like this happen. its so unfair hunni, i truelly wish you all the best in the future.
