Lulu, sorry about your recent diagnosis. I was just diagnosed as well. My cycles are super irregular though so I had an idea. Have they prescribed anything to kick start ovulation or AF?

I honestly didn't think I had PCOS. The only reason I found out was through blood work (my testosterone was high and my LH/FSH ratio was high). My pelvic ultrasound came back normal. My period is 26-38+ days so it isn't too bad, because I have 10-11 periods a year. But I started suspecting I had it this cycle, when I started temping. I have always used OPK's and gotten a positive. But my temps never spiked this cycle. And I never got any ovulation symptoms.

But, they haven't started me on anything yet because I only saw the endocrinologist. He told me to go see a fertility specialist. So that is what me and DH will do in a couple of months....

Are you taking anything?

Im 21 dpo and a faint second line comes up after a minute wen i poas. Its happened twice today but i dont know whether to believe it.

What are ur thoughts????

Hmmm.. I'd say give it a day or two and if it doesn't darken up (which it should), call your doctor/midwife, and see what they think the best course of action would be...

My OB/GYN just started me on clomid. Have you called your regular doc to discuss options with them before seeing a specialist? My doctor told me she would only keep me on clomid for 3 months and if we dont get pregnant by then she'll refer me to a specialist or RE. Good luck with everything!

Well ladies, my beta levels went the wrong direction. So looks like I'll probably be back on the TTC bandwagon as soon as I figure out what my body is doing.

I'm only a little sad. This was my first real cycle off birth control. At least I know it all works in there!

I always hear of women getting put on Clomid, etc. through their OB/GYN or regular doctor, but I don't think mine does that! I have Kaiser....so it is like everything is combined (all doctor's know of everything going on with you since they all use the same system). I guess I could always call and ask the OB/GYN department. But they probably want money and want me to see a specialist

i have kaiser too. but most kaiser plans dont cover fertility. i had to out of pocket and went outside of kaiser for it because they told me their prices were too high.

You ladies talking about all this is making me wonder whether i should talk to my reg dr or see if i can go to one of theirs the OB i was seeing for my ectopic just released me and told me to come back when i get another bfp or to go to an other dr asap bc of my history, but i was not told about what i would need to do if i couldn't get pregnant after the three months, so i think if my cycles get weird or more wierd on me am going to have to make a few calls bc i want that baby this year at least a bfp before the end of this year

sorry to butt in but the comments got me thinking that i dont have a real plan for those what ifs that are going to be popping into my head soon
