***February love bugs***

I'm dying waiting for my NIPT and gender results. Natera called me today for payment, but is not sure if the results are completed so I called the doctor and they don't have results yet either. DYING

On the plus side, I'm 13w0d and saw my babies today and they were moving all around. Baby A has even discovered their hand. I can't wait to hold them in my arms.

I’m also dying for mine!!!!! I had the blood drawn on Sunday and they said the lab should receive the blood today so it will be 5 working days from today, maybe a little sooner. It is literally all I can think about!!!!! When will you get yours back?

I too saw my baby again today, s/he was upside the whole time and not moving much today unlike Sunday when it was a wriggly blur. Confirmed due date of 9th Feb xx

I got my results! It took 12 consecutive days for both mine. Both babies are healthy and we're having a boy and girl!! :oneofeach:

That’s excellent news!! X

I haven’t been on here in years. My girls are 5 and 7 and I’m due feb 10th babe number 3 ❤️

I announced

So exciting Desire2Mom!! Congratulations!

Phantom that's a lovely announcement!

I have my NT scan next week and just waiting to get done with good results so that we can start announcing to relatives and friends. Unfortunately my insurance wont cover NIPT as I'm < 35 when baby will be born.

Just about completing 11 weeks on Sunday and still battling nausea :/

Nov2010Momma my two are 7 and 5 and my due date is Feb 8th. We are nearly twins! Xx

Keep in mind the NT is only a screening and very commonly resolves and baby is 100% perfect. I only did mine because I wanted the full US of them both. I don't know how much you can afford for an NIPT, if insurance wasn't going to cover mine, it was only a $200 max charge. Might be worth looking into. I also hear a lot about the "sneak peak" at home tests if you just want gender.

That’s so exciting! I’m nervous having my youngest two 6 years apart. Have you told your kiddos yet?

I’m anxious about that too. We have a great family life right now with them being the ages they are And I’m hoping this little one slots in easily. Haven’t told my boys yet. Should have NIPT results back this week so may tell them then. It sounds silly but I don’t want to be telling other people before I tell them as they are the most important people and of course other people will start being able to tell before too long. I’d also quite like them to be the ones to tell other people so sooner rather than later is probably best. Have you told yours?

Yea, the doctor told us about how NT scan is only 75-80% accurate or something in that range. If I had to do cell-free DNA/NIPT without insurance, it would cost 800$. I'm fine with paying that, however the doctor recommends doing NT first. If the results don't look promising, he says insurance will cover for NIPT.
Hence, we decided to go with doctor's recommendation at this point.
Fingers crossed :)

Good golly, $800!? I wonder what test they use. You should look into the sneak peek test from amazon. It's cheap, very accurate as long as you follow directions. Just have to do it in a boy free zone and clean all DNA around you that you can.
